chem test yesterday was bad. emelyn and i found out that we both got the same question (5 marks) wrong and we both ended up singing " We fail together" to the tune of the Grease musical song " We go together" during chem practical in the lab today hahaha quite amusing how my lab partner thought of such an apt song to go with our disatrous chemistry test situation :p
okay you know yue yun send in a few SC dance pictures for some dansing.org picture contest where judges look at dance photos and give out prizes (cutting the story short)..our evermore photo won a prize :))) HOW COOL!

really glad that this week is going to be OVER. i think its the most hectic week i had in 6months?
did 3-4 english essays thanks to mr francis. my brain is drained..but not exactly looking forward to the coming week either cos its going to be the same, full of deadlines and stuff
how else do i describe my lifestyle?
BUSY BUSY BUSY oh wells
i went for prefects' investiture on friday since i decided that its my last year at SC, i thought i wanted to attend almost all SC functions :] rhea, li shan, mrs low and ms jeyapathi were such GREAT SPEAKERS- almost natural! they are really good at public speaking, flawless prounciation and connected well with the audience
the performance put up by SC's 56th prefectorial board was really good...proud of rhea tan of her 1000+ word long speech and her amazing acting and the way she has been able to juggle duties of being head prefect and yet still emerge as top girl last year.
there are seriously many high-achievers around me in school *shudders*

this week provided a stark reminder of how GOD can give and take things from us so easily
I asked GOD "Why? " i felt that it was such an unfair situation for so many of the people left behind
yes i was emotionally affected - i went for their wedding and she was my sunday school teacher
and then i wondered if this similar situation would to happen to me, would i be able to trust in GOD's plans for me and still say that i believe that whatever God has done according to His will is for the best? i really dont know i was shaken and it was really apt that when i did QT yesterday, i read through Proverbs 16:1-9 and learnt about how " When we trust Him with all our heart, He will direct our paths" and how His way is always best..

almost everyone asked me about the IMCB attachment today at school..apparently we were the first batch from our school.
well, i suppose that one of the best moments was when they gave us 2 whole hours for lunch each day..and the amazing thing is that we got to eat at crystal jade for about $6 per person cos caroline had $20 voucher :]
mum warned me that i better start revising for O levels really soon or else i am going to die (so she thinks). its true cos i think i am still in a holiday-slack-wasting time mood. not good
oh and i have a new resolution: alot of us sc dance girls think we are not fit/trim enough so alot of us are planning to do at least 50 sit ups everyday so that we can improve our stomach muscles and our sense of balance. so its 50 SIT UPS EVERYDAY!
and its quite funny cos when mr ang said we were going to take our height and weight next PE lessons, everyone went: "we better lose some weight within the coming week"hahaha. like that is even possible?

whoa. first week at school has been real hectic...so much to settle into! and back to the crazy schedule of dancing 5 times a week, amongst the other commitments i have. seriously no time to blog
janice, nianci, indora, caroline and myself have been attached to the INSTITUE OF MOLECULAR AND CELL BIOLOGY for these 3 days..not to mention that we are participating in a bacteria quorum sensing course, which i had no idea what it meant at the beginning...and we have JC and RGS people in the same course, so you all can imagine how inferior we felt hahaha. we are trying our hardest to learn stuff like how bacteria sensing is related to pathogenic diseases and pathogen-host interaction. ultra cheem
the new thing in my house is a DRUM SET! so cool...i was asking my sis how much it cost and she went " its cheaper than all your pointe shoes, leotard, tights and ballet things put together " and i just had to shut up hahaha

was welcomed with MANY changes when i went back to SC today. a little bit overwhelming hahaha
suddenly dawned upon me that we are the 'seniors' in the school , the eldest of the lot, the ones on which the school and teachers are putting high hopes on for the O level results..oh man. it was the first day today and we already starting talking about which JC we want to go to and starting a mini debate on whether to do IB or A levels..[Budgit, if you are reading this, you will be glad to know that ACS (I) is gaining support in SC! ] also got to know about a very scandalous incident from rachel yew about someone (guess who? :p). This very suprising news revolves around someone in my class[the smart/nerdy class] having a boyfriend...yue and I were joking about blackmailing that person. LOL.this is getting interesting..
meepok uncle is gone. ms heng is gone. nancy our school uniform tailor is gone :[
I'm just really relieved that our new prinicpal can speak well..otherwise, she is going to be critized about the use of english language by us students. i dont know how well she can relate to us students, but her opening speech sounded very much like an election rally! when we clapped to welcome her, she gave a wave(exactly the when lee hsien loong does it) to acknowledge the crowd..then she said something about working together for a greater SCGS..sounded like whatever the political members say about S'pore working together for a better and greater country.haha.

still sleepy. have alot of rules for myself this year but i cant seem to list all of them...but all alot of them are related on how i am going to manage my time and how my life is going to revolve school, dance and church. YUP.
went shopping with whole family excpt dad to takashimaya..not an easy task- having ashley as the only male was very fustrating for him! managed to get a new wallet at $19.90..that was the most urgent on my list. must tell myself this year- buy only whatever is necessary. LOOK AT GST HIKES!!

realized that when we were talking about junior worship when we still small kids with shawn, adriel, abi, deborah and adrian brought back so many memories of how it was so fun growing up in Shalom. those experiences were priceless..about how only girls could take the songbooks with the red binding and guys blue.hahaha.crazy things we did back then-like bullying adriel..poor guy

i am going to sleep early today on account that i have about 2hrs of sleep yesterday. 190 people from church came over to have a new year's eve fellowship dinner and i'm just really glad to say that i had the chance to talk alot of aunties and uncles. like uncle sia chuan and family- they're migrating to NZ this thurs!
i need motivation to study. i have the feeling that everytime i say that, people will just say its not true anyway and that i have always had the motivation to study..as in seriously, i am becoming very lazy and am still unwilling to do that pile of unfinished holiday homework..i need ENCOURAGMENT
