Psalm 18:34 It is GOD that girded me with strength;
that made my way perfect
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours

i remember that i was going to church with dad in the car 2 weeks ago when we both had to go early for piano and ushering duties and i realised where i mainly get my temper, attitude towards things from...
Dad was telling me about how he sometimes sees himself in me and recounted experiences of how i deal with certain situations the way he also does..amazing. its true, because dad and I share alot of similar characteristics..
we both get irritated and annoyed when people ask too much (we think the qns are uneccessary)..we both think its absolutely important to read newspapers and wake up early most of the time- i feel really ignorant and lost if i dont read the papers for like a week or something, and dad has always told me that its important to be well-informed..we cant stand it when the newspapers are messed up (whats new? )..
that sunday dad was also telling me how GOD has really blessed our family in so many different areas and that he has alot of thank GOD for..about how God has given him the perseverence and the wisdom to continually be the sole supporter for our family of about 10 (family, grandparents, maid) for about 20 years and yet God has provided for us and His blessings never run dry..Dad was sharing about how he is amazed at how we can all afford to attend good schools, live extremely comfortably, go for extra lessons here and there (dad said its really a handful providing for us- having 4 children isnt easy)..its' all God's providence he said, and i agree..
A LIFE OF THANKSGIVING TO GOD :]
