first day of term 2 and 4SY had to face a whole hoard of disappointed teachers who used words like 'complacent' to describe our studying attitude and made it ever so clear that they are expecting nothing less than an A1- well, except for higher chinese, not that im exactly not going to study for HCL, seeing that ms tan has set an aim:
Now i have to get a B3 for HCL, which is erm kinda impossible to achieve. unless a miracle happens of course.
im getting really really really swayed by all those newspapers articles on the topic that polytechnics are no different- not that i thought otherwise all along though..bcos seriously, i am in no mood to do badly for a levels and jepordize my chances of getting in a good and preferred course in university. man. why not go to poly? but theres one prob: im still indecisive about what i wanna do in the future; probably have too many choices to pick from
but i dont see why its the better students fault that average students now have difficulty getting into their ideal courses in poly. surely everyone is entitled to their own choice and spore works on the basis of meritocracy..if you want that coveted spot, go work hard and fight for it! SO SIMPLE. why shouldnt MOE increase intake for the average students for entry into JC? if poly is seen to be a better choice for top students, the govt should offer alternative equal opportunities for the average students to excel in..otherwise, its totally not fair for the good pupils to take the blame for 'hogging' the good places in poly
oh yeah today rachel's mum said i look like COCO LEE. i went like HUH? and she said yunhui looks like QUAN YIFENG!that was so funny!i was even surprised that her mum remembered my name! shes always recognizes my face but forgets my name
