aha. i just posted a new video!
the song called "Timeless"- a duet sang by Xiah Junsu and Zhang Li Yin for Li Yin's debut album.
its a live performance,so their vocals are a little shaky, but hey, Zhang Li Yin is only SIXTEEN!she looks way mature for her age though..she hails from China but is now a korean citizen because she was talent scouted by SM entertainment when she was 13. i personally think she's pretty good actually (:

Girlfriend by cheon sang ji hee the grace! another brainchild of sm entertainment..they have low, powerful voices for most of their songs and they can dance really well. people dubbed them as the female dbsk (seeing how dbsk is also from the same management company)

let me just give an account of my busy weekend which brought a bit of momentary excitement into my structured and boring life (:
FRIDAY: SYF Dance Fantasia Night
Serenade is probably worlds apart from concerto allegro, in terms of style and genre..but serenade blew the audience that night away- judging from how we had the loudest cheers (yueyun said she didnt expect that much applause either)..it was subtly impactful, to put it that way, i think it was just the grace and technical ability that really showed the training and high standard of SC dancers! saw grace there too! she was attending the peformance with her foreign friends as part of the Asia-Pacific Youth Leaders Summit thing (in hwa chong) she's attending now for 2 weeks, which makes me desk-partnerless in class.
i liked dan's item as well, a very dramatic and refreshing performance by serangoon JC as well as St Nicholas' Chinese dance syf item- their dancers' faces had so many different expressions of bliss and joy; making their item very enjoyable.

our very homely and comfortable costume room we sc dancers are really fortunate and pampered, we get our hair, makeup,earrings all done here by our teachers, members of the dance department and parent volunteers!

our dinner! SC dancers dance alot, so we eat equally as much. 14 of us had like 5 pizzas and the box of drumsticks- mrs chan was like "girls, would you all be able to finish all?"and we eventually did, in the end
SATURDAY-at ballet under the stars(BUTS) somehow, i felt something lacking from the sdt dancers :( the performances were less impressive and were shorter in terms of the no. of movements as compared to last year..but i like the 2nd and 3rd item, and ms clarke and toru were good! a view of the hundreds of people who brought their picnic baskets and families to fort canning for BUTS.

oh yes, and i finished reading the 7th Harry Potter book- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (: it was much better than the 5th and 6th, seeing how there was alot more drama and suspense and yet, the book is thinner.was feeling sad on knowing that Fred Weasely,tonks,lupin and mad-eye died :(

for today, happiness is: knowing that i will be starting to pray for the various ministries and matters arising in the YF, although its an "assignment/task" set, but its a start to a consistent inclusion of the YF into my personal prayers too! (:

ysterday we went to nydc-suntec to celebrate rhea's birthday! (:
it was kind of a 'reunion' thing as well, since its not everyday we get to see yunhui and have a good time together..yesterday's dinner made me feel so happy and blessed to have such good and supporting friends.its that sort of comfortable atmosphere where everyone just talks and laughs about things and thats what makes our friendships so worthwhile (:
i met yueyun at newton at 4pm and both of us walked from city hall all the way to suntec city.the length of the entire walking journey didnt seem to tedious and tiring when i have good company to talk and window shop with..and i was wearing my killer heels which were 3inches tall-didnt even sustain any aches or blisters at the end of the day!(unlike the time when i was rushing for nick's bday party- i was complaining inside about how long citylink was)..well, yue and i got tired of walking and then so we sat down at nydc at 6.20pm..the staff almost didnt want to release seats for 7 people, seeing how there were only 2 of us there.yueyun had to frantically mass-message the others to transport themselves to nydc asap
anyway, for the 1st time in history, i brought my camera..decided i really want to keep memories of my SC sec school days:

ouch.
i hurt my lower back early last week- its an acute lower back sprain according to the doctors. i have never felt so much inconvenience while moving around before in my entire life. in a way, this injury is significant because maybe its just my body's way of telling me to slow down and take my dancing easy. i dont know but i cant dance for at least 2 weeks! and physiotheraphy sessions 3 times a week is really alot!
